Handpiece Bay is an independent service center, located in the San Francisco Bay area. Owners-operators are well trained, certified technicians, dedicated to providing fast and reliable handpiece repair service to local dentists as well as a nationwide clientele using our mail-in option. Every handpiece is treated with the utmost care and outfitted with the highest quality parts, manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications.

Can you repair my handpiece?
Yes. 99%. Handpiece Bay repairs most any brand of dental
handpiece on the market. Unlike many other shops, we
repair both highspeed and lowspeed units and sonic scalers
in-house. This means that we control the quality and speed
of our work. We’ll give you a repair estimate and you decide
whether you want your handpiece rebuilt or not. No charge
for our estimate, nor for shipping.

Do you rebuild or replace turbines in dental handpieces?
We rebuild turbines whenever possible and practical. By rebuil-
ding your turbine instead of installing a new one, we save you
between $40 and $200 per handpiece. Our turbine assemblies
use the same or better quality parts than those in turbines you
would otherwise buy from a manufacturer.

What kind of warranty do you provide?
Full warranty for parts and labor for 4-12 months. Please see
details in the Service section.

What makes your service better than the one of others?
Attention to details, quality parts and tools and nearly sterile-
clean facility that ensures no dust particles transmitted into
miniature and delicate bearings. Bearings are often key factor
in your handpiece longevity and performance.
